Our art is our legacy.

I want the furniture I make to outlive me. I want the tools I use to be passed down to someone else. Among my tools are century-old saws used by my grandfather-in-law, hand planes that my father bought from someone else when he was young, a miter saw my great uncle couldn’t use anymore and countless more that I’ve acquired from everywhere. These tools have logged hundreds, probably even thousands of combined work hours. When I use them, it’s not just me doing the work. It’s the legacy of the generations of carpenters before me. These tools will outlive me, so the furniture I make with them should outlive me too.

I believe conservation matters. All the lumber used in my projects comes from sustainable forestry. I plant a tree for every piece sold.
